Today we got up early to get to Chopta valley before the clouds. Due to the crazy roads, 30 km takes ca 2 hours. When we got there, we discovered to our utter horror that the beautiful spot from last year (browse through the blog) had been completely demolished! So, we had to find another spot, which was OK, but not optimal.
We have seen an amazing amount of beautiful flowers, animals, and the same hoverflies (Eristalis and Episyrphus) that we also find in Sweden, Germany and Australia. Pretty crazy, if you think about it. Two more days of field work and then I start the 4 day trip home to Adelaide.
